The Relationship – Using the Relationship Messages to Turn Prospects into Customers

Once you get the prospect’s data, your next objective is to turn them into customers. For this, The Prospect Farmer provides a relationship messaging system to make this step easier.

To create a new message, click the “Create New Message” button. Then use the HTML editor to create the layout of your message. Do not forget to put a subject that catches the attention of your prospect!

The “Save” button saves the message and returns to the message list. Use this option when you want to just save the message to send later or just to save some unfinished art to finish later.

The “Save & Set Triggers” allows you to save the message and determine under what conditions this message will be sent. The available options are:

  • Never. I’ll send it manually when needed (might as well just click the save button, but can also be used to remove a previously registered trigger).
  • On a specific date/time (schedule a date/time to start sending, so you can create multiple relationship messages and pre-scheduled them without worrying about having to log in to start the sending process).
  • On prospect birthday (this option will only work for the prospects that have their date of birth recorded in the system).
  • After X minutes, hours or days of prospect registration (you can specify the interval).
  • After X minutes, hours or days of another message sent (you can specify the interval and the previous message).

While setting the triggers, you can also set some filters:

  • Tags: insert tags to be used as a filter. Only prospects that have the tags will receive the message (learn more about tags). When using tags to filter, you must specify whether the filter will consider any prospect that has any of the related tags or only prospects that have all the listed tags.
  • All prospects registered between specific dates (you can specify the interval).
  • All prospects recorded in the last X minutes, hours, days (you can specify the interval).
  • All prospects registered before X minutes, hours, days (you can specify the interval).
  • All prospects that opened another sent message (only possible if there are other messages sent earlier).
  • All prospects that have not opened another sent message (only possible if there are other messages sent earlier).

The “Save and Send” leads to a screen to choose the filter for the sending. Filter options are:

  • All my prospects.
  • All prospects registered between specific dates (you can specify the interval).
  • All prospects recorded in the last X minutes, hours, days (you can specify the interval).
  • All prospects registered before X minutes, hours, days (you can specify the interval).
  • All prospects that opened another sent message (only possible if there are other messages sent earlier).
  • All prospects that have not opened another sent message (only possible if there are other messages sent earlier).

IMPORTANT: The Prospect Farmer has a mechanism that prevents the same message to be sent more than once for the same email. This way you can create a message to be sent to new prospects and send it forever to “All my prospects”, so the system will take care to send the message only to those who have not yet received. If you want to send the same message again, you will have to create a new message and copy the contents there.

At any time you can see the messages statistics. For this, use the link “stats of this message” in the message list.
